Boiler, heat pump or furnace? What Valley homes actually have
If your heat is out in Tempe and you are wondering whether you have a boiler, the odds are you do not. Valley homes are overwhelmingly heated by gas furnaces or heat pumps, because the mild winters never justified the boilers and radiators common in colder regions. True residential boilers and hydronic systems here are the exception, found mostly in older custom homes, some small commercial buildings, and pool or spa loops. How to tell what heats your home

When a plumber is the right trade
The dividing line is water versus air.
